I agree. Sort of like "drive your VW to work day", or "have a slice of pie day", or "national orgasm day". Who needs to set aside a special day for these things? _________________ nothing |

Next time your down we will need to hit up JB's. A little grocery store in my neighborhood that fills growlers for pretty cheap, but was in there yesterday getting some Mac n Jacks and they have your Rasputin on tap, $13.99 for a fill.
Mac n Jacks is only $9.99 _________________ "I have always thought that stereotypes were a real time saver." cdennisg |

Could bring one with us to Peter's, maybe it's your turn to try the bike vs. guardrail scenario? _________________ "I have always thought that stereotypes were a real time saver." cdennisg |

I try to avoid guard rails unless I am driving a 74 Dodge Diplomat. In that case, I just let the guard rail steer the car around the bend. _________________ nothing |

Picked up a couple to try... wanted to try something I hadnt.
(Chinese) Tsingtao - Lager .. very light color, with semi sweet taste. Good Spring Beer. A little sweet but not bad.
(UK) Samuel Smiths Nut Brown Ale.. Medium to Dark, nice hint of Hazelnut. Very good, nice rich smooth taste. Nice cool night by a fire Beer.
I need to find more of this one.. _________________ aka Ken {o\!/o}

I picked up a sixer to enjoy while watching the new season premier of Mad Men
Troegs Nugget Nectar.
Strange name but I have enjoyed their other offerings _________________ "Depression is a malfunction of the instrument we use to determine reality.”

Picked this up recently - given the packaging, I just had to
Love my belgian whites and my IPAs but not sure if I care for this style - a little too hoppy up front - but will try a few more examples before passing judgement... _________________ '69 SingleCab

No beer this time, but Samuel Smith's Organic Hard Apple Cider. Good stuff, I was surprised to see a proper English cider in my neighborhood stop & rob. Gonna try the sparkling mead they have sometime |

Was in Columbus, OH at Pies & Pints. Since they didn't have Weasel Boy, I took 2 gambles - ordered the red grape and gorgonzola pie & Duchesse de Bourgogne beer. Beer came first - at first sip, "this ain't a beer, it's bleepin' hard cider as I found it to be rather fruity tasting. However, as I drank more, I began to like it more and more. The pie was surprisingly tasty and the beer went really well with it. It's a Belgian, Flanders red style ale. That is pretty close to a lambic. I'd have both the beer & pizza again. |

Yes, it is true. It's not something that if I had a pizza once a week (oh wait I do) that I'd eat every time, but once in awhile for a change of pace. Different, but at least to my palate - it worked. |

Well, despite the risk of causing a world calamity, a couple weeks prior to the grape pizza, my wife & I checked out the new local hipster pizza joint & I tried a fig, gorgonzola, & potato pizza along with Maui Brewing's Kona Koko Loco Coconut Stout (to keep this on topic). A poorly executed flavorless (other than the rosemary) offering except for one overpowering bite of gorgonzola, no fig taste & mushy flavorless spuds. The beer was an equally overpriced, nondescript disappointment. Won't be having either again - not going back to the place again as well. Wife just texted me about a new pizza shop opening, so we shall se what they have to offer. |

We'll be enjoying home made pizza on the grill tonight. I plan to cover mine with venison sausage, mozzarella, and lots of tomato sauce. Hopefully that will set the world back in balance.
Beverage choice is myriad, so I will have to make that post later tonight. _________________ nothing |
