Yes, there are still spots available. Must have got the bugs in the engine worked out |
Most of the bugs. I may leave a trail of oil though. |

I get back in this weekend, going to drop the engine again and see if I can take care of the leaks before the campout.

For those attending, remember, you have to show up in a bus. KQ is about 10 minutes outside Julian. Drive up the entrance and at the booth they will wave you through. We are camped on the green to the right of the main road leading into the camp site. People are welcome to drive up anytime Friday. If you are going to be late you need to make arrangements with me Serg. POM me if that is the case.
Saturday is the cruise. I will hand out maps Sat. morning to those interested. We will hit the road at 10am. It is a mild dirt road. We take 78 South from Julian, east on Pine Hills, which winds through the wooded hills outside of Julian, to Eagle Peak going right then to Boulder Creek Rd (left fork!!) which winds down to Descanso though woods, rock strewn hills and grassy valleys. Very few cars on it usually. Once we hit the 79 we head back to camp, though one year we went down to Alpine and had some beers. We can decide that on Saturday. No one is obligated to go on the cruise of course. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Ugh I just checked the weather. Sunny but chilly. Shoot not bad considering the last couple years we've been lucky with shorts and sandals weather. Still stoked on this weekend and hanging out with all of you. Unfortunately I have to work Friday so I should be there just before sundown. Just enough time to set up camp, suck down a beer, and geek out on all the buses. Dan your bus first, you bringing that SO-2Early oddball? Oh yea Ivan so I suppose you're gonna bring that crop heater deal? _________________ Phil 4:13 |

Just got my bus running yesterday so I'm down to camp. I'll be there Saturday. Can't wait to have my ass in the drivers seat again.

Hey Maurice,
No that beast is still not done. It is up and running but not street legal yet. So far I have only dared to drive it about one mile from the house. Will be coming up in the '59 as usual.

This is it, HDF's pot which I fired up for him on the Monday opening shindig for the Classic week! I believe this was in '09 or so.
