Hi, would someone be able to tell me if this motor has a governor on it. I read on here some do, and if it does where is it? And how does it work? Thank you

They come from the factory with a rev limiting rotor. Since it's 10 times more costly than a normal rotor it is often replaced with standard one. Its designed to "cut out" at around 5800 rpms.
