Yep the Ghia design studio definitely had a "house" style in the 1950s.

I saw that car up close last year. It has a real presence and the details are incredible.

Seriously? Ford bought Ghia in the early 70s but there was no Carrozzeria Ghia involvement in the design of the Mustang II. Ford just used the name Ghia to badge engineer a certain trim level. Ford had a sick sense of humor.

The Dual Ghias were gorgeous cars - Was the hot ticket for movie stars and the like. If I recall correctly, a lot of them were Mopar powered.

Don't forget the Ford Granada also had the Ghia badge.

On a more positive note. The DeTomaso Pantera also has the Ghia badge.

Ghia had a hand in the initial body designs but then Dearborn started throwing the clay around the bucks.
