FARFIGTUBIN XI (FL VW CAMPOUT) ... May 2nd through 4th, 2014

Time once again to spring into the springs at beautiful Ginnie Springs Outdoor Resort http://www.ginniespringsoutdoors.com near High Springs, FL. Everyone bring your tubes / kayaks / small boats / snorkel-scuba gear / horseshoes / bocce ball / volley ball / bikes / and your appetite.... cause we are either eating, planning what to eat, or spinning the blender! To quote a famous member "we are basically just an eating group with a camping disorder.." Libertarian 2006.
Friday night is the Ginnie Spring speedo midnight swim. Saturday 6pm potluck dinner followed by Island Dance Party. Be sure to come wearing your best island attire. Really anything island/Caribbean like goes! This being a private campground, open containers are abound all weekend! Tell your friends/family etc. even if they don't own a VW…..yet. This is a really great campout...lots to do... Over 200 acres in the woods along the Santa Fe River with an hour and a half tube float and several crystal clear springs to explore! Come for one day, night or the entire weekend...we would love to meet you! All sites are on first come basis, however we will have an area reserved for all of us along the river near the boat ramp.
Camping fees are due at the on-site check-in and are approximately as follows; $22 per adult per day and $6 Children (ages 7-14 years) per day.

We may have some t-shirts and/or stickers for this year’s event. Stay tuned for more info.

IMPORTANT !!! At the on-site check-in when filling out the FORM please write down “Full Moon Bus Club” or “VW Campout” in the Group Name section.

Short sleeve S-XL - $15 each (2-3XL add extra $3)

I do not need prepayment, only a promise of $ cash upon pickup at the campout.

If you would like to order one and want it mailed you must add $5.00 prepay and I will mail it to you.

Directions to order T-shirt/s: (Deadline is Thursday, April 17)

2. specify: quantity, size, color (ex; One, XL, light blue)

3. await e-mail confirmation (if you do not get one within a day or two, try again / communicate through other means)

4. bring cash to the campout to pick the t-shirt/s

Next Level-Premium Fitted 3600 style Short-Sleeve Crew, super-soft fitted, 100% combed cotton jersey, 4.3-oz, 32 singles for extreme softness, 1x1 baby rib-knit, tear away label.

Digitally printed, full color with a direct to garment printer, very soft and very good washability. Recommend washing inside out, on gentle, then either hang dry or low heat (delicate cycle).

We would like to camp (again) with the group. It's been a couple of years, and now the kids are old enough.

Do we have to reserve a spot with one of you guys?

no reservations needed, just head out to the boat ramp and pick any spot available including the ones marked Full Moon Bus Club

Guess I missed the shirt deadline:( We should get up there Friday afternoon in four busses. What should we bring for Saturdays dinner? Is there power available to plug in a crock pot?

There is no power in the area, however some folks might have generators. We will have one for the dance tent so that could always be the fallback generator to go to although it might be somewhat out of the way.

Food wise anything goes. I'll have to ask my wife if there is anything particular that typically is missing and get back with you over the weekend.

T-shirts have been made and are being shipped.
