So this is a so35 and not a 34 I didnt realize you had the wood interior rather than the white formica |
Yes, it's actually a so34 and "should" have the white formica but I came across some so35 pieces and like that look better. So this bus is going to be an so34 with a so35ish type cargo interior. |

I almost have the closet complete. Here's a couple pictures of the progress:
The paint removal marathon is close to being finished. I just have the nose and drivers door to go.....

No real update here. Still plugging along. Most of the paint removal is done and now I have some work to do on the PO's bondo work in places.
My goal was to have her on the road by today (her 50th birthday) but the engine is still being built. Oh well...by summer for sure.

glad you are keeping the artwork for now, makes this bus immediately recognizable. _________________ regards

I still have a list of electrical issues to fix along with some minor mechanical things for it to be road worthy.

HA....thankfully you guys were there to help!!
.............
Just finished up the bodywork on the long side. Turned out ok. I still need to do some sanding to try and blend a little better. The nose will eventually need a new skin. I plan to leave it alone for the time being.
..............
Here it is last August

This bus is insane for so many reasons. Dream bus right there.
I'd leave the nose personally (and that rainbow). History and all that |

Thanks!!

A good friend of mine got married last weekend. I wasn't able to get all the interior completed by then but the bus still presented itself well.
This past week I decided to get rolling on building the missing pieces for the ice box cabinet. All I had was the two little doors and the actual ice box.
Sorry, not many in between photos of how I made it.
I think it turned out pretty good:
