I remember a LONG time ago, maybe in mechanics illustrated, there was a set of plans for using an ACVW engine and IRS trans to make a mini tractor. Bigger than a lawn tractor but smaller than a farm tractor. The even use the rear hub/drum assembly for the rear wheels and used sprockets and chain drive for gear reduction to the drive.
Anyone have any insight or info on those plans? I think I want to build one! _________________ Chuck in Socal

Close, but it wasn't that large and wasn't a "brand built" unit. It was offered as a kit. I cant seem to find it, but remember enough to probably build one. _________________ Chuck in Socal

I recall seeing plans that used an IRS trans for a home built lawn tractor. As I recall, the design placed a sprocket on the input shaft of the trans and then you used a Briggs & Stratton engine with a centrifugal clutch to drive that.
I don't know where I recall seeing the plans though. _________________ www.LoCashRacing.org
