98 VW Cabrio ARV valve or what the vw dealership calls it Secondary Air Control Valve.
This is my problem, Can i remove the nut on that metal line, is it pressurized and if so can i DIY it or have a shop do it?
Need to know asap because i am working on a friends car not my own

| One side of valve is from the Secondary Air Pump and the other side has exhaust on it. The only problem would be starting the car with the valve off, it would then have a large exhaust leak. the SAI system's function is to provide extra oxygen to help "light off" the cat on cold starts. |
