This is a advert for tacho which uses a driver unit that runs off the crank nut.
Not sure if this was something offered worldwide?

Yep! I've got one of those 0 - 5000 rpm VDO tachometers and the remote sender and an NOS cable too. Very cool item, who knows what one is worth now?! Just curious, mine is not for sale, I hope to install it on an Okrasa motor for my Oval Kabriolett some day...
