Toyota has developed a gasoline engine that does NOT have a crankshaft!

It is to be used for generating electricity for mileage range extending of electric hybrids.

there have been many with no crankshaft.Im surprized it's taken this long for it to work it's way into mainstream stuff

good prototype but it lacks balance.
Right now it's an good earth compacting machine that also runs a lightbulb Laughing

one of my old bosses made a engine with like 3 moving parts. kinda like what you have there.
