Not sure why the trim holes are covered from the bottom. I don't know if this is the original bonnet. I will look further into this.

I was / am pretty sure an original bonnet doesn't have the holes...

I still have her. She is in my storage unit in Virginia Beach waiting for me to move her to Winston Salem North Carolina where I now live. I plan on finally tearing her down this summer and at least making her road worthy. The cable brakes need to be replaced as well as the pan halves. I will be using a donor 55 for the pan halves to keep it OG.

The german standard bullet take a long trip threw the ocean and now is runnonh on the Island of Puerto Rico, pans were replaced, brakes put back on service and or will be showing to públic in the biggest vw show on October. Laughing
