I can't tell if that's a post 1954 Oval? But here's the other MAHAG badge:
1955 to 1965 era dealer body badge.
That other MAHAG badge here:
~ is the 1948 to 1954 style dealer body badge, just for everyone's information. JFYI
Gute Fahrt! (Happy Driving)
Tom

Yep! ~ that's the rarer of the two badges, does your car have them on both sides? (SORRY FOR GETTING AWAY FROM THE SUBJECT HERE) - but anything MAHAG is cool!!!!

Alfred Hitchcock fans will enjoy these photos......
Many vintage movie buffs like myself, consider Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" to be his masterwork, a tale of terror, deceit, love, obsession, loss and renewal, shot "on location" in San Francisco during 1958, the movie has become a classic and in my book within the list of top ten movies ever made.
These two photos (featuring a 1957 L 331 Horizon Blue car similar to my own) were taken at once what was called the Portman Mansion at 1007 Gough Street, (the Mansion was built in 1890 and was one of the few San Francisco Mansions that survived the 1906 Quake & Fire)
It was in a state of abandonment at the time Hitchcock used it as the Hotel location were the faux Madeleine Elster checked into the "McKittrick Hotel", Hitchcock filmed the outdoor location there and finished up with sets in Hollywood at the MCA-Revue studios.
Less than a year after the film was shot the Mansion was torn down, very shortly after these color slides were taken.
Modern apartment buildings now cover the site where the Mansion once proudly stood......
Slides Courtesy Of The Charles W. Cushman Photograph Collection.
Enjoy!
