Pittsburgh Classic #6 Sunday Sept 7th
Held at Pittsburgh Raceway Park in New Alexandria, PA
All VW Car show, Swap meet and Drag Racing
Gates open at 8am
Admission $15 (12 & under free)
Show car entry $10 (Doesn't include admission)
Used Swap meet $35 (includes one admission)
Hosted by the Fresh Air and Three Rivers VW Club.

Looking for volunteers to help Judge and help park the VWs at the event.
Already have a few from the Fresh Air VW club, but certainly could use some others to help get the job done faster.
You will receive an event shirt for your time.
Just send me a PM or email.
Who needs some flyers for the event to pass out to friends or at local shows?

 speak up...let people know about this show. It has gotten bigger (150 show cars and may be 20 vendors). We still have room for maybe 500+ show cars and 100 more vendors. Race cars have been the highest.still room for maybe 100 more. We still have the other side of the 1/4 mile of track to park 4 to 5000 spectators. But none of this will happen without your help.please take 15 mins an contact everyone you know. We want this to be the largest show in the north east.

This is the design for the event shirt, dash and award plaques. Sizes will be available from S-3XL. $15 each. If you can't attend, we can ship to you. But we must know before the event of your sizes.
FREE CAMPING on Saturday night. Times will be available soon as I verify with track of their race on Saturday evening.

Any info on the Saturday camping? I'm driving in from near Jamestown NY and would like to stay overnight rather than drive down Sunday morning.

Yes camping on Saturday night.
They have an event that is going on that night, so anytime after 8 will be good.
Go to the grassy area on the right side of track.
If anyone has any questions, just give us a call.

What a great event today. The weather was beautiful and watching the cars go down the track was fun.
My surprise was receiving the Promoter's Choice award for my daily driver 83 Doka former department truck (sans blue lights)!

Pittsburgh Classic Results
We had a beautiful day at Pittsburgh Raceway Park this past Sunday, Sunny skies and nice temperatures! Our numbers were up from previous years and we would like to thank every one for helping spread the word around the area. Special Thanks to the Fresh Air VW Club for helping out with the show area, we certainly appreciate it! Over 90 that showed their Air or Watercooled VW, plus other VWs that just came out to enjoy the day. The racing area had a good mixture of Air and water and the Swap meet area was better then previous years.
We hope you enjoyed yourself and we will see you again in 2015! If you have any suggestions or comments about the event, please let us know. Event photos and results will be posted soon, so stay tuned.
