Im trying to figure out what these NOS cog wheel 70mm+ pistons/cylinders are used for. Some people say Kubel / Schwim. and others say early British 1946 beetles?
Which is correct? I have Schwim and Kubel blocks but also have a 1946 block that I want to build using these P/C's.

The original standard size is 70.5 mm x 64 stroke. 71 mm is an oversize.

Hey guys. I have a 1943 Kubel that I am beginning a restoration on. I have looked all over for contacts that can turn me on to parts, information, or just moral support. I have so many questions.

Can you guys point me to any organizations or interest groups? Is it ok to ask questions here?

That's what this place is for!
Post your questions, but it is customary to first use the search function to see if your question has already been asked and answered.

Post pics of your Kubel!!!!

You should sign up to the vw166 forum. It is for kubels and schwimmwagens.

Cheers!
