So the passengers can really tell when you just filled up with gas.

A few more pics.

At first I was not going to take the rear roof panel out, but after taking it out, I am glad I did.

That looks pretty nasty.

How did you get the front ceiling panels out w/o removing the hatch hole trim?

I got the trim on my 60 removed today; What a pain.
You will have to bend the tabs on the ends of the longer pieces down some to get them out; then remove the smaller pieces(much easier).

A heat gun is your friend.

Paul's bus is coming right along.
I fabbed up some plywood pieces to keep the interior paint intact.

I also found out the propane line along the frame is 3/8" od steel, I assumed it was copper until it was blasted. I'll post a photo of the clamps if someone would like to see what they look like.

Looking great Jerry. Please post photos of the line and clamps, surprised they are not metric? Perhaps they were replaced at some point.

Paul, I was just looking at these and thinking how great it looks and it occurred to me how earlier on it must have been nerve-racking to start stripping the paint and now it was clearly the right thing to do. It is going to look incredible when finished and Jerry is nailing it.

Why was that hole hacked into the sidewall? PO-hack? I bet that made the engine annoyingly louder.

Oddly my 62 SO34 has a similar hole in that same spot...

Thanks for the props guys!

Here's a couple of shots of the line clamps...

There are 3 2-hole clamps & 2 single hole clamps.

I couldn't find my micrometer to od the line but it I'm certain its the equivalent to 3/8" od copper.
