I cannot express my appreciation of everyone who showed up for today's cruise. We had a total of 19 cars on the cruise. There is something special that goes through your heart when you look in your rearview mirror and see the long line of VW's. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. This is my favorite cruise and we get more and more people every year. Again, thank you to all who came. _________________ Deb

I don’t know if anybody here is even close to Eastford, Connecticut but I’m currently working on a meet and greet at Frog Rock Rest Stop on Rt 44 for a Friday night in July but I figured I would invite you all. I went on one of your Quabin cruises last year and thought I would return the favor.
It’s an old roadside rest area that a private group reopened to the public recently. Check em out on Face book. You don’t have to have an account to get the info. https://www.facebook.com/FrogRockEastfordCt

Hi everyone. Been a very busy summer so far for myself and John's Air-Cooled Auto. Looks like we have several events happening in August starting with Volks Vair Fair on Saturday August 2. ( my daughter is racing at Louden that Sun so we will not be attending). Then Bug-a-fair will be on Sunday Aug 10. We are planning to attend and will meet at 7am and pull out at 7:30 for that show Next up will be our 3rd Annual Quabbin Picnic Cruise on Sun Aug 17. We will meet at John's Air-Cooled at 11am with a pull out time of 11:30. Hope to see you all there at these events Happy VW'ing !!! _________________ Deb

Hi gang... Looks like John and I are going to have to back out of Bug A Fair. I'm a little dissappointed but we are trying to get ready to drive the buggies to a show in Hagerstown MD with our friends from Pan Air VW. You are all welcome to use the shop as a meeting point if anyone would like. Our Quabbin Picnic Cruise is on the schedule for Sunday August 17. _________________ Deb

Thanks Deb for organizing a fun cruise! We logged 181 miles today on mostly back roads. The best way to cruise and enjoy the aircooled gems.
Here are a couple pics I took today
This one was taken by EasternNotch, thanks for the pic!
