Is it August 10th yet?
This is my favorite show location! All grass, almost entirely tree-shaded and cool.
Even better when filled with nothing but buses! |

Depending on which channel you watch, weather will be mid-eighties to low nineties with a slight breeze. The show area is mostly tree-shaded, so it will be a very pleasant day for Bus Fest #10.
Expecting another great turnout, with a special display coming via River Road caravan from Sacramento. Their arrival at Bus Fest 10 will be one not to miss, a rolling rarest of the rare for the Type II world!
Days end raffle will one again be epic ! (see previous posts)
See you in a few hours... _________________ David Heard

Special Highroof Display at Bus Fest 10. Thanks to Justin, Mike and Dean for bring them out for all of us to enjoy. The caravan from Sacramento consisted of these 3 Highroofs and 4 Barndoors, a rolling rarest-of-ther-rare for the Type II world. _________________ David Heard

Buses from Barndoors (as above) to Eurovans and everything in between made Bus Fest 10 fantastic! There were campers of all years, and meticulously-restored trucks and Deluxes everywhere. Lots of good deals were found in the the Euro-style swap.
Our uber-generous sponsors made the end of the day raffle, wait for it, legendary! Besides an dazzling array of Type II goodies from Wolfsburg West, Nor-Cal Relics, Greg's VW Service, Vintage Parts Inc, Lavere's, Vintage Wheels and Jerry, there were two top-notch grand prizes: a rebuilt transmission from Kombi Haus and a set of Safari Windows from Honest Engine Midtown! Needless to say, there were lots of very happy winners.
Thank you to all that brought out your buses for us to enjoy, to our staff and Old Volks parking crew for making the event run smoothly! See you next time. _________________ David Heard

Had a great time at the show and it was amazing to see all of those highroofs and barndoors lined up next to each other. You just don't see that very often anymore. Already looking forward to the next one! _________________ 1963 Beetle Ragtop
