Picked up some used weber manifolds for 44 idfs and was just wondering which manifold goes to which head. One manifold is labelled A the other B.

Thanks for the help!

Yep port matched to my heads; btw never knew how much of a pain it would be to cut the manifold gaskets. Now I'm glad I had an extra set!

Use a Dremel Tool with a sanding disc, it make shaping your gaskets a cinch.

I would take and compare the gasket from each head to each manifold and see what lines up...... The usually A on side X and B on Side Y might not be correct.

Unless CNC ported there can be subtle variations to each port profile. The result could be less performance if they are not on the correct head. My hand ported heads from one of the major shops was different from side to side. I cleaned it up to be as close as possible but they are still not interchangeable from side to side.

Some will not see it as big deal and for some it isn't. I wanted to wring every pony out of my build so I bushed my mainfolds to take all the slop out. It makes checking and indexing the gaskets better.
