The worst part of left hand drive cars being driven on the left side of the road in the U.S. Virgin Islands is when you are the front seat passenger following a truck and the driver wants to pass. YOU get hung out over the center line so the driver can take a look around the truck to see if it's safe or not. _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

Its participatory driving- the passenger gets to be the spotter, and the driver has to have trust! Lived overseas in HS and it was a real eye opener, telling my dad when I thought it was ok to pass. Most times it was; there were 'oh sh**' moments however! _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

Can't be any worse than standing on the running boards of my uncle's 39 Chevy, while going from neighborhood to neighborhood delivering newspapers. Had a lot of fun when I was a kid. Could you do most or any of those things today? I highly doubt it. Things were a lot different back then. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

My version was sitting on the tailgate delivering papers at 25mph. WHOA when you go over the rain drainage swales at intersections. Keds made funny noises when you dragged them on the pavement... |

Nowadays there would be 30 cell phone commandos calling 911 on you and social services would be at your door by the time you finished your paper route. _________________ Schrodinger's cat walked into a bar and it didn't.
