|
|
Starting in the last couple of days, I find that the indication that I have read all topics in a forum is not working.
Even if I read each and every one of the formerly unread threads, when I go back to the main forum list, it still shows I have unread threads. The only way to show I read them all is to click the button to "mark all topics read" on the forum.
I might have thought it was a cache or cookies issue on the PC in question, but it works this way on my Mac at home and my Windows laptop at work. Started the same day, too.
Anyone else? |

I have had this happen in the past from time to time - the read markers don't get marked.
This is a cookie issue and is usually solved when I close the browser and reopen during my next login session but if it's consistent for you across multiple days, I would clear everything in your browser - cache, cookies, etc.
You can just clear any cookies for thesamba.com only if you prefer to not mess up any other sites you use. _________________ How to Post Photos

Thanks, I'll try that on both computers. |

I went on my work computer and deleted the Samba cookies. Fixed it!
Strangely, the "read" indicator now works on my home Mac, and I did nothing with cookies on that one! |
