today I put my 411 grannies together for a photo shoot.
The blue car is number #5474 the red car is #5651.
both are made in cw 39/ 1968.
Are there more early early type 4 on the road?

Beautiful, funny how even though they were built in the '60's they belong in the 70's.

Wrong in the 50's.
Built in september 1968.
VW 411 4 doors, 11 years to late.
Makes 1957. 
But the cars are beautiful Lutz  . |

on the VW 411/412 Treffen in Arnhem/ Netherlands came 4 early VW 411 together!
How many are on the road worldwide?

It's crazy how much VW changed the car after the first year! Even the steering column support is different from the later cars!

another different are the air ducts in the dash. (early) early 411 had smooth, later early had grained facing.
