I have a 1641cc, no crazy radio or extra lights.
Should I go with 55 or 75 amp?
Anything I should consider when buying?
Stick with Bosch or other brand?
Thanks |

55 amp should be enough.... Avoid "Chinese Republic Authorized Product" (CRAP) if you can... Try to find quality re-manufactured BOSCH unit if possible...

Better to have the extra room of amperage then wishing u bought a 75A in the first place imo. 75A is the minimum I buy. Been running my chinese alt since 2006ish and I drive my ride often. The difference in price from 55 to 75 is marginal imo. I got a 90A dual cool cb alt for my future fi/turbo/ms build and a 55A on my break in shroud. _________________ 2276 IDA's 86C 11-1 DD !
