It seems like a have 1 or two cylinders that don't kick in till I hit around 2 grand. In the video I am holding my foot steady on the gas pedal and the RMP jumps when 1 or two of the cylinders kicks in.

Electrical problem with a cylinder not firing??
I'd remove one plug wire at a time to try to isolate the cylinder that's acting up.

Yeah I have the "same" issue on my buggy - thou its not RPM:ing "as well" as yours

I have issues with my distributor - wandering upwards - prob due to a soft, aftermarket clamp not holding it in place properly.

check the conenctions to all plugs, wires AND the damn dizzy
