Are there differences in the door hinges used in 67 and older doors and 68 and newer doors? I see that CIP1 carries replacement door hinges, but they list it for 68 and newer vehicles. I checked a few other retailers such as aircooled.net and midamerica motor works and they list the hinges as fitting 56-79.I would order from them, but they are listed as backordered. The only thing I could see causing this is the CIP hinge doesn't have a threaded pin for the mirror attaches to the door differently on later cars.

Hinges are the same...
You are right up to 67 can have a threaded pin for the mirror.. while 68 and newer do not..
Thats about the only difference.
