got the car about 2 month ago put a brand new battery in it would not start hit the started it started and worked find just ever once and a wile it would not start let off the key try to start it again it would start until last night. i had to have some one turn the key wile i hit the starter to get it to start. so i just put a new starter on it to day it started once. now when i turn the key nothing so i got under the car bridged the starter solenoid it started. so i got out my volt meter and it is getting 12.87 at the starter and when i check the volts at the solenoid wire it is only 8.2 when it is hooked to the solenoid and the key turned over. but if i take the wire off the solenoid and have some one turn the key it get 11.5. I am not sure what it could be ? Question

Am I reading this right (not so easy, by the way) that the voltage under laod is only 8.2? That's low.

Try a jump start from another vehicle. If it starts then, bad battery or bad conenctions at the battery.
