I have been looking at this stand alone hidden ipod stereo system on ebay. its made by Woodys Custom Shop. It is not much bigger than a deck of cards. Its two channel 40 wats each. Has anyone ever messed with one of these? Its only $65. go to ebay and search hidden stereo. Im really thinking about getting one. |

Even if nobody chimes in on this, I'm willing to give this a try and I'll bet it works great. Thanks for posting it. |

Yeah give it a shot, I think you could mount it behind the dash under the glove box, and have the jack in the glove box with the control so it would be extremely well hidden _________________ Aust. RHD 66 Type 1

Neato! Why not make it a true docking station and charge the iPod while you listen?

Anyfeedback on this? I just bought the $39 one for my single in dash speaker. Looks simple enough. Small size, easy hookups, etc. |

I bought this tiny "amp" off of Amazon.com to use for my suitcase stereo. It can connect to any device that has an headphone jack. I have been pleased with it. It sounds great and gets quite loud.

The one from Woody's is a Pyle PHA15A amp that can be bought for under $20 from several retailers online. There is a mono version (PHA15) and a stereo version (PHA25) that work great with the speakers Wolfsburg West sells for the stock location in the dashboard.
Check out my post about half way down in this thread for a few pics:
