Say, does anyone know if Bolton Wheel is still in business?? About 10 years ago I shipped them a set of stock wheels they cut the centers out re-welded them to a wider rim and rechromed them for $100 each. Their web site came back server not found. Or, know of a company that will do the same?? Thanks. Don

Try Googling Stockton Wheel in Stockton, CA. They have been around forever and make steel wheels in any configuration you desire. They built a set of custom widened steel smoothies for a 63 Ford Fairlane I had years ago.

Here's the info.

Bolton’s Classic Wheels
16516 S. Western Ave.
Gardena, CA 90247

310 765 6621

http://www.boltonsclassicwheels.com/

Don't know about chroming. I just had a set widened from some OG wide to 15x6 wide 5. Great service, excellent turnaround. Very fair price I thought. $65 per wheel widened with my center cores.

I need to have a couple stock rims widened. I think I will give Bolton's a call.

looks like they are out there most likely. i found a business site that showed 1991 origination date. sounds like established operation, just not big on modern technology.

I can't find them on Instagram. Do you know the name they use?

The phone number above isn't current (at least according to Yelp.)
(310) 538-5046 is what they have listed

Hey all. As I had stated, I drove past them last month and the doors were open, I believe. I'm about 20-25 miles away from them and will get down there and actually make contact with them and get their contact info, being a good phone number and/or e-mail info. Anyone have any specific questions I should ask?
Hope this helps, Bill.

I dont think VWMike82 will need to worry about shipping.

Were not too far from Gardena.

I had Bolton's Classic Wheels widen a pair of Porsche 356 KPZ wheels to 8 inches for me last month.

I'm very happy with the results. $110.00 each and I supplied the stock width wheels.

If you want powder coating, it's an additional $110.00 per wheel. I just had them paint them white at no extra charge.
