I have a fresh air 40 hp and was wondering how hard is it to adapt a 1600 style exhaust to fit a 40. How much wider is a 1600 based engine than a 40?

I wouldnt attempt doing a stock muffler, have to cut out a sect in middle, reweld to fit, I think a header would be easier.
