6 volt to 12 volt generator conversion

Had a shop in louisville,ky convert my 6volt generator to 12 volt for $105. Great guy, does very nice work. Pell at 502 608 3990. thought this may help someone hoping to do the same thing.

I got mine from a shop that sells on EBay, he's out of Los Angeles. Works great, charges good but the generator light does come on at idle. Although that is normal for generators.

Which 12v regulator are you using? Are you still mounting it to the generator?
