I figure it's only right that the Bus that started this thread make an appearance as currently outfitted on the centennial page. '62 SO-34 Brought back to life by travelVW. Remote camping some where in between where the Kansas prairie lands meet up with the rolling hills of Missouri.

I love this thread some of the most breath taking photos here, sucks though even when I get mine going and take it one some camping trips I have no scenery even close to most of you guys.

I do plan on taking some but for mountains like that will have to be a long one. I'm in south Alabama, so I have a beach nearby and woods lots of woods, but its all flat.

you could be on the appalachian trail in about 5 hours or so, ride up to asheville, nc, from there towards Johnson City, there is some great scenery up that way.
