Be prepared to pay. And don't expect it to last more than a season or so if you use it every day. Wraps are always the fad and they have their place, but not as a permanent solution. |

There was an over the top, mid-engined buggy at Carlisle this year with a grey carbon fiber looking wrap. It did have some seams to make the sharp turns in some places.
I have no idea why I didn't take a picture of the car other tha I was in shock at the build itself.
Hopefully someone that went to Carlisle has a photo to post of it.
I sort of think it must be pretty good to be used on bus's and other commercial vehicles and hold up? _________________ Boston Bob E.

im having it done by a local company here in michigan and the color is a perfect match to the orange paint i was looking at. comes with a 4 yr warrenty and can be peeled off and replaced whenever im tired of it. the guy says you wash it and wax it just like paint. |

I did see that buggy but didn't take any photos. And weirdly can't find any on Carlisle's site. But anyway... wraps are meant to be temporary. Bus wraps are changed every three to six months depending on the advertising. Commercial vehicles are usually a one-shot deal, but are typically used on lease vehicles where it'll be turned in two years down the road. Even still, the wrap is going to look a little beat up in under a year. |

the buggy will be stored inside when its not being driven and when im work it will be u nder a car cover. it will see the road about 4 months out of a year so i think it will hold up just fine. and the fact that i can change the color in a a couple days if i want to. just pull winshield and lights drop it off they remove wrap one day, rewrap the next. back together the next day is a big plus for someone like me who it took 2yrs just to decide on a color. |

This may be the carbon fiber wrapped buggy that was seen at Carlisle this year. You have to look closely at the close up shot to see the carbon fiber weave.
