Recently I renovated the interior of Homey for the camper conversion.
Removing those ugly cabinets.
The mini ref i bought needed a cool cabinet.
Setting up the working place in our car port.
The cabinet of the ref is having its shape.
The cabinet in the middle that will house the fauset, spare tire storage and for other needful things to be kept in.
I also bought a sink and other hardware in preparation for its installation.
The sink has been fitted before final work. The two big water storage is for the reservior and wastage.
Fitting the spare tire.
The overhead storage and cloths cabinet are being fitted and cut accordingly.
Fitting these cabinets before having them laminated.
For the fauset, I used this tiny windshield motor washer to push the water from the reservior to the fauset. And it worked!
the outlet.
This is really cool! It is working. The Switch is located at the back of the fauset.
Fiting the cabinets before final touches.
Same as these cabinets.
The installation of the lamination needed to be close to perfection!
There you go! Alas!
The small table for the porable gas burner beside the ref and small storage behind the small table.
Finished cabinets at the back.
A table or when removed will serve as the extension of the bed inside.
Another small table up front!
My son and I were enjoyign the maiden voyage of the camper conversion.
My son and I had great time bonding.

Maybe you should give up that law practice and do car restorations full time? _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

That looks great Dong. Reminds me of my dad back in the early 70's doing that to a domestic van we had, so we could go camping almost every weekend during the summers (on the New england coast). We had a great time, and made long lasting memories. Thanks for sharing. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

At the vintage show here in Seattle. Nothing else major bus wise. Did use the panel lots to haul stuff. Been working and vacationing as of late
And got to see Mark after what?? 2 maybe 3 years!
Stuart - you own a T3 - you are in running or not.
Moved the 74 from place to place. Hope to start the insides very soon before all the summer is gone.

Can I join the club too? 3 weeks ago I took the plunge.. 1969 tintop westy, my square is a '71. The bus came with '70 beetle engine that has the right case for the mustache bar and a '72 transmission. Trying to get it up and going for next summer! It's living at my parents house for now..
Here's the only pic of them together. I started the strip down of the PO's questionable paint decisions. Originally pearl white!

Count me in, too. I've got a 66 Fasty, and a pair of busses (61 and 71). Trying for a full house.
Anyone got a straight flush? That would be a type 1, type 2, type 3 and type 4 all in the same color. _________________ 61 Bus, 71 Bus, 76 Beetle, 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth, 47 Plymouth Business Coupe, 58 BMW Isetta 300 |
