I do run the rear tin, this was just a test fit of the exhaust. They make kits designed for heater boxes so you shouldn't have a problem. There is some drone on the freeway but that's just how it's going to be if you want a free flowing exhaust.

Check aircooled.net they might have one in stock. get the v-band and o2 bung you'll want them later anyways.

Thanks. I ordered an A-1 from ACN ... June 26. July 30 they still didn't know when A-1 could deliver so I changed the order to the Bugpack.

For sure I'm not going to buy another exhaust without seeing pictures installed with the heaters and ducting all working. No heat is not an option for me.

Cheers,
R

I'm sure its a hassle for you. I know how much you like their product. You guys have enough on your plate with the move and all.

Side note: The Webers your guys set up for me are as close to bolt on as any carbs have ever been. Thanks!

Question for sactojesse: Were you able to make sense of the muffler support/clamp setup for the duals? I don't see how a 3/8" bolt through a 1/2" hole that doesn't seems to align with anything is going to work.

Here are some photos I took of my muffler clamps. Sorry about the delay.

I had an A-1 Sidewinder from ACN. The droning above 45 made it unbearable, so I sold it and bought a stainless steel Vintage Speed, also from ACN. Love it. Lines right up with the apron cutouts, and it's not too loud, very nice sound.

Nobody has any first-hand experience with this system?

Thanks! I'll see if I can get things to fit.

Do you have any popping/backfire/crackle when you let off the gas? My car has a snap/crackle/pop that makes it embarrassing to drive. Did you have to spend much time chasing exhaust leaks when you installed yours?

I didn't have any issues with exhaust leaks with mine.
