Hi all,

Has any one fitted an adjuster to the standard BD beam? If so, did you use a normal bus or bug adjuster?

Any help would be grateful.

Thanks

Rob

You use a bus adjuster, though I would recommend constructing or purchasing a beam that uses later spindles(64-67). Beam tube spacing between tubes is the same. Save your original beam for restoration. Later spindles have better brakes and less expensive parts. The the higher price of parts to overhaul the OG bd brakes and kingpins just once will pay for a proper lowered beam using later components

The whole issue of lowering the front end is something I'm very interested in.

Ive asked questions, done searches and got few points of view on how to go about it but I'd be interested to know where you maybe able to buy a beam ready to go in BD ...have you got any info or links please as that could help a lot of people I reckon.

Best
Ian
