I am looking to replace my 12 v horn, 1970 bug. Wanted to see if someone has any suggestions for a place to get one. I want the classic bug horn sound.

I have searched the classifieds. Concerned I might be buying what I am replacing- an intermittent horn. Looking at airheads and jbugs.

Thanks, Keith

Most horns today are kind of different sounding. The Parts Geek has Bosch and Hella Horns.

Open it up and take a look.
Make sure your wiring is correct.

Pretty sure it's the horn. It was intermittent then stopped working. Have checked that it was getting power. Put a jumper to ground it and no sound.

I diassembled it in an attempt to "fix" it- oh it's fixed now 😃

Prob get this one http://www.airheadparts.com/vintage-vw-parts/vanag...11951113-b
