Mike has it all. Everything that I have needed so far for my 65' bug restoration, he's got it and I haven't had any problems getting it. He is quick to respond to communication and ships out super fast. I would recommend him to anyone looking for reasonable prices and great quality parts. |

A couple of months ago, I bought from Mike what I believed to be front and rear bumpers for my 72 vert. Before the sale, he asked what kind of mounts the bumpers would use -- shock (74 - 79) or brackets (68 - 73). I told him they would be the bracket type. I received the bumpers with the brackets mounted. I had them chromed ($700). Only after this did someone more knowledgable than me point out that the bumpers were for the later cars (74 - 79), and that they had simply been fitted with the older style brackets.
I can't blame Mike for my ignorance, but I know from the forums that he has done considerable restoration work, and it surprises me that he would not have known the difference between the different types of bumpers for different years. I can only conclude that he was also ignorant of the difference, or he was taking advantage.
Since then, I have attempted to get him to sell me the correct bumpers. He pledged to send photos of the bumpers he would sell me beforehand, in order to avoid another error. After numerous emails and phone calls, he has simply stopped responding. This is now weeks ago.
Caveat emptor. |

Drove to Mike's shop to pick up some doors to replace the rusted out bottoms on my project.
Great guy to talk to, helpful, good attitude. More than willing to help you with your project, wealth of knowledge. Would definitely buy from again.
