Finally, I got my rear wheel wells slapped on by my buddy Dirk in Altadena. I want to say how thankful I am of this and would like to give a shout out to Dirk for being one of the coolest and down to earth people out there. After looking around for the right person to do this job, Dirk stepped up and offered to install them AT NO COST! he just asked that I buy the material and help get the work done so that I can learn as I go. Amazing dude man! Here are some pics of the before, during and after. Enjoy!

Still working on the sanding down part. I had lots of fun helping out but Dirk was really the maestro behind all the cutting and welding. Just happy to share this with you guys.

Hey...looks like me...welding in jeans WITH NO KNEES IN THE PANTS! And just like me you can see the results on the guys knees. he and I are idiots. These shots have motivated me to spend this rainy afternoon sewing up the knees (and crotch...holy crap I'm stupid) in my garage jeans.

BTW...tell that dope that this dope says he did a nice job! Laughing

Dirk will love the compliment, but it's "butt", not "but".
