Not one yet. There was two for sale up north a little bit in Austin that I saw on Craigslist in the past year or so, but none that I have seen on the road from San Antonio up through Austin.

I know of one that is daily driven in the Corpus Christi and Houston area, I'm just saying Wink

I'm the only one who seriously drives a type 3 in all of Texas as far as I know. Maybe once or twice a year I'll catch a glimpse of a squareback being driven when there isn't a show going on. It's kinda sad really.

Nobody I know has ever heard of the Type 3 before I bought mine and took it home, and I've never seen one on the road (West Michigan area)... The guy who sold it to me said almost no one drives them around here but they're really common way out on the west coast. After reading through this thread, I can see that he wasnt kidding around

There's a white late model that drives by our house a couple times a day. There was another white late model down the street from us that just sat in the garage, but they've since moved.

I've seen a blue early model and a red later model in Oakland. Outside of east bay I only know of one guy in SF with a square.

Last week I saw a very cool 71 fastback right around the corner from my house! It's only the 3rd one I've seen in Denmark.

Aside from the few T3's I saw at Bug-o-Rama in Phoenix earlier this year, I know of 1 other squareback in Tucson. It belongs to the guy I bought mine from.

I see square backs and notchbacks usually but it really rare to see a fastback. Even at the local weekly VW meets, a fastback is rare to see.

There were two others in our small town until just a couple years ago, both late models -- a red Fastback and an orange Squareback. I don't know what happened to them. Since I got mine I haven't seen any others, but people ask me about mine everywhere I go.

I couldn't decide the best place to post this but this seemed like a good place...

Does anyone near Walnut Creek, CA own a 70s Notchback?
I think it was light yellow or tan.

I saw one cruising there a couple days ago near Ygnacio Valley Road.

On Friday I saw a faded Manila Yellow type 34 with a green top on Fremont Avenue in So Pasadena CA. It appeared to be stock as it hummed away.
