i need linkage too. i've tried multiple times from speedwell.
i have a bottom pulley that I could reverse engineer and could possibly have a buddy build one. Same guy is going to build my intake and carb mounting plates. Prices might be less if we build two sets???
I might have to build some linkage. i'm willing to work with you if interested. _________________ '67 deluxe bus w/the little windows

Hi,
I contacted speedwell as I purchased a second hand charger & wanted to obtain the build manual. All I got back was asking me where I got the charger from. I did say that I purchased it from one of the vw forums. I didn't get any help from speedwell. I was very disappointed especially as I have been into vdubs more than 20 years. I have since had help from a couple of people & now have the manual. I suppose the questions I was being asked almost made me feel that I had obtained the charger in unscrupulous terms

I have been into vws since 1969 .i have learned one thing .you meet a lot of super nice vw people that would help you out in a heart beat . then there's vw people that have there head up there ass .thinking there shit don't stink .they only hear what they want to hear .i have learned not to waist my time on people like that .the speedwell guy needs to get his head out of his ass and come up for air .he needs to know that there's money to be made selling replacement parts .. So don't get disappointed with speedwell there not worth it . If they keep treating people the way they treated you .they won't be around long . I had a guy make my bottom pulley for my pepco supercharger and he did one great job making it .allso I am sure there are some guys out there that would make you a copy of there speedwell build manual good luck |

Hi, gents i also have an og pepco missing some parts that i require and i too am struggling to get hold of anyone willing to help. Hopefully going to get some measurements and things for throttle linkage and stuff shortly, then i will make them. I would love to get hold of a manual or even a copy, i know there is something on here (samba) for the pepco. but it is not very detailed. I am going to strip my pepco so i can replace bearings and seals, would like to see an exploded view just so i dont force something apart that is not supposed to come apart but to be honest i think they are simply built and self explanitary but every bit of info helps, it might even show specialist tooling to lock the two rotors etc. |
