Does any body make a reproduction Judson supercharger? It looks like it would be pretty easy to do.

Good point.
It only makes an original 36hp engine a less common site. Hopefully that'll mean those who make the decision to run them will care for them better. _________________ Collector of all things Volkswagen, Hazet and Matra.

"luckbugs" owner Lutz Lindner in Germany builds a similar compressor. I'm not sure if he still do it. Try this:

Is the housing of a Judson made from cast iron? I have never seen one except in pictures, do you think one could be made from aluminum if it was hard anodized?
Is there some where that has the specs on the housing online? I think you could make one from a piece of thick wall tube and build up the rest from plate and weld it up.
Any body have a bad housing they want to sell?
