Does any body make a reproduction Judson supercharger? It looks like it would be pretty easy to do.

Good point.

It only makes an original 36hp engine a less common site. Hopefully that'll mean those who make the decision to run them will care for them better.

"luckbugs" owner Lutz Lindner in Germany builds a similar compressor. I'm not sure if he still do it. Try this:

id love to build an engine with:

porsche super 90 dual throat solex carbs $1200
dual speedwell pepco super chargers $4000
ww okrasa heads $500
porsche 356 a 74mm crankshaft $700
AA 83mm pistons and cylinders $300
and custom cast intake manifolds $$$

just those parts alone is : $6700 +++

thats one expensive as 36hp engine

Is the housing of a Judson made from cast iron? I have never seen one except in pictures, do you think one could be made from aluminum if it was hard anodized?
Is there some where that has the specs on the housing online? I think you could make one from a piece of thick wall tube and build up the rest from plate and weld it up.
Any body have a bad housing they want to sell?
