Talked to Bob Godfrey this AM and he said that Lee had had a severe heart attack last night -- no further info

I was sad to hear that lee passed away .i allways liked reading about him in all the vw mags. Over the years . We sure are loosening a lot good people like gene ken dean joe now lee . Spencerfvee |

I did a search on the Samba for Lee Leighton and it seems like I posted most of the photos with Lee. Here's a link to some of my photos. Search Lee Leighton and there are more photos. Lee was a very good friend of mine. I enjoyed knowing Lee. Any time I needed to ask a question I'd call Lee. Good friends are hard to come by these days. I'm going to miss you Lee!

| Services for Lee Leighton will be Saturday 9-27-14 at 1 PM at Orchard Church 17508 Hercules Hesperia Cal. All friends are welcome to come and say good bye to our friend Lee. See You there |

| The Leighton family is having a memorial for Lee this Sunday 10-26-14 in Riverside at Fairmount park Ameriacan legion from 2PM-7PM. It's a pot luck. Many of Lee's friends and family will be there. See you there. |
