ok some updates. I have been working on the floor and came across some issues but however i believe i got it fixed up. Ill show you pics of what issues i had with the floor
As you can see the gap between the headlight support
in order to make the floor to fit i have to adjust the corner to get the floor to touch the headlight support which has been done now. I will post pics once it is welded on
received the nose from Wolfsburg. Very nice quality, it will do just fine fixing up the bus' nose.
The pillar is finally welded on the valance.
Dogleg is a little bit of an issue because it's about 1/8" from the pillar on the bottom so I think I'll try to pull it in about 1/16" because I don't want to stretch the metal too much. I have measured and compared the drivers side, everything is spot on.
also got bumper bracket along with the nose
Hopefully soon ill weld the dogleg then the last piece is the floor. _________________ 58 beetle AKA Black Beauty http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=496780&highlight=black+beauty

You're doing a nice, complete job. You may consider removing the headlight bucket in order to metal finish the nose once it's welded in place. The bucket can be welded back in with no distortion or visible welds once the nose is cleaned up. _________________ I've never met a Bus I didn't like.

Good progress. Those plug welds in the very corners are hard to grind. You're not kneeling in the snow anymore!

how do you grind welds in the corners? I've been struggling with this on quite a few locations where I'm trying to weld in patches. |

X2. And lots of cutting (dremel) wheels. Nice job btw. I know this is time consuming work but once it's behind you... Soooo rewarding! _________________ "Relax and just enjoy the ride knowing everybody passing is wishing they had one." |

Looks pretty good! I am glad to see that I am not the only one who had fitment issues with the WW floor. Are you planning to use the entire lower nose panel or just the part you cut out? I'm curious about how it fits vs. Gerson's panel. _________________ 1967 13 Window Deluxe
