I think he's just saying that it has an original Type 1 ragtop in it, rather than some aftermarket ragtop.

Reminds me of a friend who asked, "Hey did Type 3s ever come with ragtops from the factory?"

Is the plasti dip hiding rust on the bumpers and other chrome bits? Just seems strange to black it all out.

I know were I can get a truck load of 6volt fan shrouds for his asking price a local VW shop has two Warehouse style racks full of those and the shop owner calls them junk ...
