|
|
Adjusting valves the other day and found the #4 intake (I think, left valve) adjustment bolt was stuck and I could not turn it. I had gone through the sequence of turning the motor counter clockwise and finishing up on #4.
Now what do I do?
Thanks |

Remove the rocker arm. Work on it that way and break it loose. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

I was rebuilding a motor for a friend, and when it cam to the rockers all had to be thrown away due to this. they were all kooked so bad from lack of oil and the oil that was in there was now carbon. just another reason t=for the added oil gally&oil system mods and 30mm oil pump with booster pressure spring.but std cooler relief spring. get the oil where it needs to be and get it there in good supply. |

Removing rocker arm and heat took care of the problem. Replaced studs with chrome moly while I was in there.
Thank you |
