Dual Kadrons and a 019 distributor.

Or if you can find a vintage dual carb setup and a 019.

Well, back in the late '70s we used a Zenith 32NDIX and an 010 Dist. on a 1385 cc in Funco buggy with great success. Today I would be tempted to try a Weber DFAV/EV progressive if you can find a manifold for it. I would try to use it with SVDA distrib if you can get the vacuum signal correct.

a big bore 40hp with those and the sonic/lukey exhaust is going to make for an awesome Australian period performance motor. love it.

Apologies. I actually had a 122.5 in the 28 PICT. Not a 125. Noticed this weekend that it was runnimg a little hot in 100 degree weather. Could not hold the dipstick. Put a 127.5 in and it is running very well and I can easily now hold the dipstick after a hard run. May go back to a 125 later if I see I'm running too rich.

That's a very nice set-up for 40hp, carb orientation, linkage, air filters. Can you tell more about it? I don't think I have ever seen Kads on 40hp heads. Cool

I am running a big jet in my 1200 big bore with a 28PICT1. Pretty sure its a 127.5 main and this was dialed in on a chassis dyno. Works very well. I do have the compression around 8.1 or 8.2 (without running down to check my build notes). 019 distributor is timed at either 28 or 30 max.

They're not Kads, some old school German setup.
