Not exactly old (it's a 2002 movie), but I'm fairly sure this is a Single Cab in the Helsinki scenes in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind...
The gates look odd to me though. They have horizontal indentations, so I don't think they're smooth gates, but the pressings aren't the rectangles in later gates? |

Without re-watching I remember:
TR, English Ford, Henry J, Porsche Bathtubs, Super Speedster, and Spyder, Big Healy, Austin Healey 3000 (won), English Hemi Daimler SP250, and the marque the camera pans onto the dash emblem...Simca Aronde, Morgan.

I haven't read all 24 pages or so, but did anyone mention Jaws? Before the beach scene of the boy who gets attacked, they show a few scenes of cars driving and parked in Martha's Vineyard. There is a 1-2 second clip of a split window! Original factory red! I was drooling! |

At the top of the thread, there is a box that says Search This Topic. You can use that. Good call though!

1958 The Perfect Furlough with Tony Curtis has a scene where he breaks a wine barrel in the streets and then a split bus almost gets creamed at about 1.5 hours in. _________________ 1971 Deluxe Sunroof Bay 1905 stroker, dual idf40's, 74mm Scat forged crank, engle 110 cam. Not a Movie as such, just 8mm film footage of Wellington New Zealand taken in 1963, there is a singlecab at 1:50 going about its work.
There are alot of British cars, but there are some Plymouth/Desotos around as well.

Batman - this episode originally aired 10/20/66. "Yegg Foes of Gotham" starring Vincent Price as super villian "Eggman". One scene has this ol westy driving around. (It is stock footage I believe as the exact same bus and scene/angle also occurs in the episode when Penguin runs for Mayor)

My dad was a cinematographer and filmed a B rated horror classic called "Beware of the Blob" a color film from 1971 directed by Larry Hagman (JR of Dallas fame) not to be confused with the original "Blob" with Steve McQueen or the most recent version from the early 2000's. In the first few minutes is a bus, the scene was filmed in Diamond Bar California. The film is funny and I suggest you watch it with a few beers in hand, funniest movie ever imo.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but I was watching 'On Any Sunday' last night for about the 50th time (motorcycle movie). All kinds of VWs through out the flick. _________________ I'm at the age were "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions. |
