I have an old version of ETKA (EPC5) running on Windows XP.
Can this run on later versions of Windows? I'm a Mac guy, and know very little about Windows OS, but I am thinking about an "upgrade" to Windows 7 or 8.
So is anybody out there running EPC5 on Windows 7 or 8?
Thanks, Mondshine

The answer is probably but not 100% sure as it would depend on what the app does specifically under the hood.

However you could probably get it to run on OSX too with something like WINE or similar... basically just a wrapper around it.

You should be able to install it under compatibility mode with no issues. .NET binaries haven't changed too much over the years.

Your simplest bet is to install Windows XP on your Mac using VMware fusion, assuming your Mac can do it. That is what I do and it works well. You can run ETKA in a window on your Mac desk top.
