When I want to work on it , it clean it off with mineral spirits. |
spi must not own the wd-40 trademark.
I keep sheets of steel at home for future work and protect it with some sort of spray oil. Before I cut it I clean it off with mineral spirits. I have not done a spray gun paint job on a surface I did this on but for areas that have a rattle can job and are on hold for final job ,I have not noticed any negative results. From looking at these temp areas ,I see no reason to not top coat over it. _________________ My beetle is not competing with your beetle. I have the yellow beetle in my town. I've only ever bought it by calling and having it shipped. As it isn't a major brand (PG/ Sikkens/ Sherwin) I doubt you'll find it in stock somewhere _________________ modok wrote:
