I went to the US 131 Bug Run today and scored a genuine Hurst shifter, pretty reasonable, too. Very Happy

Anyway, the main part of the shaft has some of the chrome flaked off and has rust. Anybody know of a reputable rechroming shop near Chicago?

Thanks,

Dan

I've used Courtesy Metal Polishing in Villa Park for years. Nice work and quick turnaround, usually less than 3weeks:

The best thing is they're fearless. Pot metal, aluminum, whatever you've got--they'll plate it. They seem to specialize in smaller things, I'm not sure they would be my pick for bumpers or a set of rims.

Thanks!

I have to send them both a picture for a quote, but first I think I should check with my other parts to see if any more need rechroming, too.
