Hard to imagine anyone needing this for a repair:

IMO, the main purpose for this part is to FAKE a KDF. _________________

I know of at least one car that would need that exact part. In Germany, there were "lots" of splits converted to newer windows, even pre47 splits . |

Yes, lots. Back in the days.
But how many of them are still around?
How many splits with a upgraded big window in need of that very part are still around? 3? Or 5?
To me not enough to press such a part.
The risk of abuse of it to fake cars is quite high. _________________ Master of my domain! |

Thats true, not many arround anymore! On the other Hand, if you buy a pre 46, there are so many other things you can verify the year of the body, can't you? |

There are other details, but the pressing between the windows was one that the counterfeiters usually wouldn't do due to the work. Or they didn't know.
That part will be used more often to fake a KDF than it will be to fix a castrated pre 46 split. _________________

Too funny. These switches were used into the 60s in cable brake cars in some markets. These in this ad don't even have L number part numbers on them. But I guess if you put "split" in the description, it makes them worth 10x..... _________________ John Henry
